My bigger problem was that attractiveness and good actor chemistry didn't make up for the fact that Kinn was Always Right and Porsche was completely emotionally dismissed by the show and turned into a joke. Or that Kinn's trust issues basically never mattered and that Porsche's relationship with Chay was turned into a surface/performance relationship by the end of the show.

But Vegas and Pete were amazing so, you know, the show did something right.

Hey, everyone's got their own taste but... I do wonder what your taste is if you don't find any of them appealing?

Er, isn't there that whole thing in the middle where Kinn Screws Up Big Time and there's a couple of eps of him coming around to, 'Oh, I really did screw up and hurt someone, and I have no idea how to apologise in a meaningful way.'

Kinn wasn't always right. The show explicitly shows and acknowledges that he made a lot of mistakes, both as a mafia boss and as a boyfriend. It was integral to his character development. Porsche also wasn't emotionally dismissed by the show or turned into a joke. His natural emotional openness was also integral to Kinn's character development, and to Porsche's ability to adapt to the mafia. Porsche is most definitely a Brat, which naturally leads to hijinks; it's part of his charm, and fits very well with Kinn's dynamic. Kinn's trust issues were brought up several times, both by Kinn and Porsche and was a main point of their relationship development.

Also, excuse the crap out of Porsche if he has a bit more to focus on, what with a mafia war, than his little brother who ditched his college entrance interview.

I agree with you about the second guy from the left, FWIW. I mean, he's good looking, but his eyebrows look bestial or something, and not in a good way, and that hair is a lot. Not bad per se, but a lot. He's still a solid 9 any day, though, IMO. It's just that the others are like 10s and 11s, IMO. (And before anyone comes for me, I would absolutely use the number system if we were talking about women too. Do I use it IRL? No. But when I'm talking to strangers on the internet, it just makes the conversation easier to have an immediately recognizable metric.)

Look, is the show a cinematic masterpiece? No, mostly because the story line is serious while all the characters are silly and ridiculous. It throws me back to 2000s era BL/yaoi tropes and trends all crammed into one show. But is it glorious in its own way? Yes, and the bodyguard shenanigans are my favorite part.

I mean, I very rarely find men attractive, so I don't find these ones attractive either, but they seem objectively pretty handsome to me? Symmetrical, young, posed attractively (apart from the haircut on the guy to the far left)...what's so unattractive about them that it would put you off a show?

I know nothing about this show, but is it... necessary to find them attractive? Does the plot hinge on the cast being hot enough to melt steel or something? Is it a mediocre show only worth watching if one finds the eye candy appealing?

I just can't get over the names. But that's not too bad because Thai BL just isn't my thing in general. They all have this massive, massive love for cringe humour that I just can't watch. Even the more serious shows are cringey as hell.
