I feel like most people who do fandom on Reddit *only* do fandom on Reddit. Like a guy who crafts a 9 part GOT theory about how the story will end but has never heard of AO3 or folks who post "their" paintings of characters without realizing that picture got tons of attention on another site.

It's odd but I don't have the why nailed down just yet.

Reddit used to scare me. But I've discovered it really isn't all dudebros. There is some awesome stuff on there. You just have to know which subreddits are fun and which to avoid like the plague.

This is true. Not interested personally. But there are many a not-so-good movie I enjoy just because they are fun. Fun has a value all its own.

Right there with you. Although not a fan of Elf either (used to be, got sick of it). Die Hard, Krampus, Nightmare Before Christmas (both a Halloween and Christmas movie), Carol, and the Star Wars OT are my go-to.

I mean. Part of the plot of the movie is that he learns to perfect the day, and that doesn't solve his problem because he hasn't Learned His Lesson.

Yeah, but even after that part he still faces the same problems again and again till he supposedly learns his lesson. What about when he'll have to face whole new problems? Will his new personality hold or will he revert back to his old form?
