There was a BNF in one of my old fandoms who was gay and male, and he claimed to have fucked with honey and had a decent time doing it. I have absolutely zero evidence that his claim was true, but whenever people bring up lube as honey I think of him and then I think, you know what, I'll reserve judgement until such time as I've actually tried using honey as an anal lubricant. Definitely not for PIV though, which it sounds like the fic mentioned in the secret was.

The cervical penetration thing could very well be someone oblivious to how anatomy works, but it could also just be a kink. Personally I love cervical penetration as a kink, as long as it's in a context like Xeno or ABO or something, where the anatomy is somewhat different from regular human anatomy. I have never tried it, but honey warmed up to body temperature does get pretty slick compared to room temp, so I suspect it would work better than most people are thinking.

Except a) the clean-up OMG, and b) don't put hygroscopic sugar up there!!! (although tbh up the ass is probably ok-ish, just don't let it get up the penis. Or vag.)

The high sugar content of Honey means it will always be sticky no matter what the temperature. Sticky is the complete opposite of what you want a lubricant for.
