I've been into media with small or nonexistent fandoms. It's ok I am almost always like that.
But I have massive craving to read a good fic. My older fandoms either do not spark joy or don't have any new decent fanfiction.

What are your current fandoms/ the type of fandoms you like/ the type of fic you want? Let FS recommend you fic in other fandoms you might like!

Some time ago I asked F!S for recs. Aaaaand I haven't read any of the fics because fandoms recced just didn't sound even remotely interesting to me. I feel bad :(

My latest big fandom was (is) Sandman. And I've dropped most of the fics because authors either ignore (or aren't interested in) comics canon or butcher historical stuff. I can be extremely picky about the plot even in my PWPs. It's a problem.

Aaah, that sounds tough. Hopefully you're able to narrow what you like in a fandom and find something new that has content.

(Or drop your standards and wallow in the swamp with the rest of us, lol)

(I usually can drop my standards if I am in a honeymoon phase. I just need to find some fandoms... with fanfics... and that can keep my obsession... easy! *cries*)

I'm also into Sandman, and Dreaming specifically, and I'm enjoying some of the AUs and glad I've only a general and hollywood/fiction heavy knowledge of history. But I've noped out of some stuff because it gets comics canon egregiously wrong and not in a way I enjoy. And I've noped out of a few fics or winced and kept reading because I'm invested despite historical stuff that I do know is wrong.

And there's maybe a half dozen authors that I've enjoyed everything they've written, and only half of those are prolific writers, but then that's true for my other two big fandoms too.

Here's hoping you find a fandom you enjoy more.

Do you have any recs? I liked some fics but I've got tired a bit.
(Also why the fuck there are so many /reader fics in this fandom omg)
Yes! I know the feeling. I don't mind people getting different readings or using only TV show that much. But some things are just too annoying. I dislike how a lot of people write the Endless. Also the poor poor oh so dead Orpheus and the poor poor Dream with his son dyyyyiiing. Yeah.

My history knowledge also isn't that deep. I am into arts and architecture from historical viewpoint but it's usually doesn't apply to fanfics. But some people just somehow ignore the most general knowledge imaginable.
