Any time Tony Todd dies on screen my heart breaks all over again.

Ianto Jones. He was the only redeeming character in that den of assholes. Well, him and Tosh.

Dean’s final death in Supernatural because I honestly wasn’t expecting him to die and stay dead. I thought the final episode would be him and Sam on some stupid, silly case that ended with them driving off into the sunset, not that disaster of a finale.

Tony Stark dying wasn't remotely surprising, but it's the character death that upsets me most. I'm not even mad about it the way a lot of people are; it was fitting enough for his character. I'm just really sad about it. I mean, right from the beginning it felt like Tony had staked his own life on an unwinnable fight, and every moment after that felt like postponing the inevitable. Which makes his death incredibly tragic, to me, because it solidifies that sense of inevitability. Being Iron Man was a fatal condition; it was only ever a question of how long.

Joyce on Buffy, which I can't rewatch since losing my dad (coincidentally, the most enormous Buffy fan) was both surprising and upsetting.

Dean I got spoiled for, thankfully, and simply chose not to watch, but on a meta level it's upsetting that that's how they chose to kill him off.

Honestly... Henry Blake was not at all surprising in that I am not old enough to have been shocked by that one on first run, and can't really remember not knowing how he would die, but even knowing exactly what happens, it hits every single time.

Well-written upsetting: Toboe from Wolf's Rain.

Poorly-written upsetting: Fred from Angel.

I've a few contenders: Bobby Ewing on Dallas I sobbed my 11 year old heart out only for next season to be all "just kidding Pam just had a weird season long dream". It still clearly upsets me, lol. ER: Lucy Knight and Dr. Green and for that matter Goose in movie Top Gun,(I'm not watching anymore movies or shows with that actor - he's too good which doesn't make sense to me why I can never seem to confidently or consistently remember his 3 names name), if you know you know, Roswell (original) : Alex Whitman made worse by making me initially like his murderer. FFVII Crisis Core game - I knew from the original FFVII that Zack died at some point but when it actually happens in Crisis Core it ripped/rips my heart out because obviously I repeatedly revisit this trauma. I saw someone else mention Joyce Summers on BtVS and slowly raise my hand - me too.

Everybody who has died in AOT. Especially that one character everyone loved (not mentioning for spoilers). That's bullshit. We can even start with episode one with Eren's mom, because that threw me! Like we're really gonna do it like this?

Being Human UK - John Mitchell's death made me cry. I think George's too, but George was just my favorite character. It was really John's death. That one hurt. Although you could tell it was coming, it still hurt. It might have been the headspace I was in, but that's such a hard thing to ask of others, especially those who care for you, and it's a hard thing to process for oneself. It just hurt. Especially because the whole thing (to a degree) was avoidable. But John was just sad :(

Are you still a I Has Cheeseburger cat fan or fond of the cottagecore frogs? Even if you like all animals, which one do you like the most of and/or can you give any examples?

My go-to is dogs memes and I really like the Borzoi dog meme 'Let me do it for you'

Trying to find a certain queer/GNC parent YouTuber

(Anonymous) 2023-03-22 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I’m trying to find a certain YouTuber who does good content on parenthood. My mom teaches English to immigrant parents and I’d love to give her more varied material on parenting.

Anyway, this person is … white/Caucasian, has short hair (often dyed in blue, purple, or pink), probably AFAB, but not sure. They dye and cut their own hair. They have a care for their children’s food dislikes.

Any hints are much appreciated!
