oh wow, that's mine. I was just thinking when I read the secret, hey, I wrote one of those. Because until then I hadn't hit on any mpreg where the impregnated character reacted like I would have lol.

I remember that fic. I remember reading it and thinking John's reaction was exactly how I'd react. And I loved that it wasn't just black and white emotionally but still a firm decision.

I have a complicated relationship with pregnancy and kids - I work with pregnant people and with babies and kids and love it, but being pregnant myself would be a whole knot of body horror and dysphoria. And I love reading mpreg and kid fic but it was nice to see it mixed up in that one. Because yeah, sometimes abortion is the right choice and it would be nice if more people would acknowledge and explore that.
