It took me several tries to read this the right way. I kept thinking “if a kid gets pregnant, why on earth shouldn’t they get an abortion???”

I mean it's logistically hard to do in actual shows because if an actress is pregnant IRL they can't really get rid of the baby and say she had an abortion in the story. And a non-insignificant number of on-show pregnancy story arcs seem to be brought on by IRL pregnancies because what else can they do, cancel for a year

If you're just in it for the kink, sometimes it's fun to go to a big fandom like that and just enjoy it without having to worry about getting sidetracked by bad characterization or canon drama or whatever. I used to do that with MCU back when that fandom still knew how to have fun.
