I really couldn't get into it. I loved 8 and 7. I got to the boss of the forest, to show that I gave it an honest shot, but NONE of the characters grabbed me.

I've been visiting my brothers and I was supposed to go home today but my cat, who I brought with me, has been missing since last night and I'm devastated. I noticed he was missing when I was going to bed last night, but I thought he might just be hiding in the house. My one brother said he saw kitty in the house about 7 am but he's been completely AWOL since then so he might have gotten out after all - he missed his dinner and he always comes out for that when he's hiding. He's an indoor cat and he's a fairly clingy kitty in the day to day, so he's probably scared out there in a strange environment without me. I put his litter box and some food/water outside in hopes that he'll come back, but I have no idea where he is or if he's okay and it's killing me.

Oh no, I'm so, so sorry. I really hope you are able to find him. Putting out his things will definitely help. Cats can often find their way back if they smell their own scent on their things.

I mean I say that I laugh when people say storylines are dark and depressing because Vagrant Story is my favorite game, Shadow of the Colossus is right up there too, DO YOUR WORST.

And yet I got to a part the other night where after I played through it, I took a day off because just... that was enough for now, need a break. (I am absolutely enjoying it, but DANG it's just generally full of upsetting content.)

Good: went out to town yesterday for the first time in a month

Bad: I had to because I’ve had a middle ear infection and bulging ear drum since Tuesday and needed to see my GP for the antibiotics

This sounds silly but check drawers. Dressers, cabinets, etc. I know a few people who had their cats mysteriously get stuck in dresser drawers or closets and only found them by dumb luck or the cat eventually meowing.

Good luck and I hope kitty shows up and is fine. I know that stress and sadness and it is awful.

Lackey has talked about being deceived by MZB in a number of ways, and having been on the outside of that circle as she was much younger, so I wouldn't jump to assuming she was lying about this. Lackey's done enough dumb stuff purely on her own, I don't think she needs MZB's sins on her.

I had totally forgotten about "haters to the left." What a throwback.

One I really miss is GAR, which might need its definition slightly updated to work today, but it was essentially a word for a character who was so manly in an awesome way that even straight guys could and often would admit to being attracted to them.

I wish writers would post general reminders not to send them fanfic instead of putting one person on blast about it. That person is now open to harassment from everyone in the fandom, and if there's a chance that they honestly didn't know it wasn't kosher. It's more likely than you think; not everyone is a manipulative attention seeker, some people are just excited about their ideas and think it's neat that they could tell the writer.

Yeah, I just came back to the laptop after a couple hours of gaming to try again, and found that the comment I'd tried to post apparently had posted in spite of the error. That was nice.

Anyway, apparently DW has had a huge influx of traffic recently, what with Twitter's buffoonery and ...whatever it was that happened with Reddit, I don't really go there. So in the "high traffic" times, mostly when it's evening in the United States where most of the users are, errors will pop up. They're aware and made a post the other day saying don't worry, site's not dying, just much busier than normal and overloaded occasionally.

threesome fics recs

I watched a show recently that just begs for threesome fics, but fandom only writes either A/B or A/C fics. Argh, annoying.
Anyway, can anyone recommend fandom with a lot of OT3s (or OTmores)? I have a craving. One would think that it's Sense8 but they actually rarely write good moresomes.

As is right and proper, because authors ought to have final say on their creations. If they don't want fanfic, we ought to respect that and they should be able to enforce it. And fuck your entitlement if you think otherwise.

Babylon 5, wasn't it? The episode Passing Through Gethsemane was delayed for a couple of seasons because a fan got fic with the same premise onto JMS's desk, and he had to get a lot of legal clearances for it.

It's already mainstream. Normies are in fandom -- believing themselves not to be normies because they commit the oh so subversive act of wanting two boys or girls who aren't canonically gay to kiss and cuddle -- bullying people for having "weird" tastes in fanfiction, not understanding that reveling in true abnormality and committing crimes on paper that would be depraved if they weren't fictional is fandom's default state.

Stargate Atlantis had a lot of OT4 with the whole team. Leverage isn't a huge fandom but it had a really popular OT3 (Parker/Hardison/Eliot). MCU has a lot of OT3 and mores just due to the sheer size.

I totally forgot about Leverage. (I don't really like the show but I know this characters at least). And I should probably try and get into SGA, it seems like my kind of show but I always was intimidated by it.
