I very much agree. But also, I was totally one of Those Fans from about 19 to 23 (aka a long time ago). I mean, I was being one of Those Fans on my own livejournal page, so like, the fact that I was judgmental, tiresome, and pretentious within my own personal online space was my prerogative. But god, I wince at past me's obnoxiousness.
