One of my friends loves this game, so there's definitely people who agree with you OP, the internet just makes any love or hate fans have for a piece of media seem far more inflated than it is. The people who are quietly enjoying something don't tend to make posts about why it's great/sucks.

I actually played it as Alexios, but Odyssey is definitely my favourite AC game, and it also has my all-time favourite quest Family Values XD

I love Kill la Kill too! And I hate when people who used to like something pretend they always hated it too. I've never heard anyone say it about KLK, I just hear general hate and that has been going on since it was airing. I unfriended a longtime acquaintance on Tumblr because she had a new "KILL LA KILL IS SATAN" rant every day it seemed. What's new is the addition of hating on it for the characters being mInOrs!!1!11 Even people who ranted that it was disgusting in 2014 didn't say anything about the characters' ages. Lol.

Didn't like it back when it aired. Forced myself through some 8 episodes of it. It never got better. But I never enjoyed the likes of PSG or TTGL either so yeah. Maybe I'm just too uwu girly

It's fun to have underrated faves though.

That's been a thing since the beginning, though usually the translators turn these into more fantastic-ish names (like Tina into Terra or Aaron into Auron). Wonder why they stopped?
