(fandom is Stranger Things)

I'm not sold on the 'Tommy was in love with Steve' thing, even if the actor is behind it-- and I'm not interested in seeing Tommy redeemed in fandom, even if he's nowhere near as bad (or beloved) as Billy. He reminds me so viscerally of high school bullies, and nothing we saw of him suggests he'd be putting the work in any time soon to be a better person the way that Steve did.

My corner of the fandom LOVES him, several friends who multiship are into Tommy/Steve, and I just hate him so much, and I hate him MORE the more I'm reminded he exists.

But I don't want to be the 'stop having fun guy' just because I've got bully trauma.
