He died today of natural causes at 90. Some of his more prominent roles were Illya Kuryakin on The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard on NCIS. Weirdly, today is 'NCIS day' on CBS, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the show with a mini-marathon.

Oh, that's so sad. He was so great - snarky as hell - in MfU, and equally great in Colditz. That's a part of my childhood and young adulthood gone forever.

I will preface this by saying I was a huge fan for decades. Today I spent some time googling him and was absolutely gutted to find he was a Trump supporter. :(

Oof, I'm so sorry, nonny. Had a similar experience when I went to look up a music composer I admired. War crime denier. It's like aaaaauuuggghhh just be cool, people.

Eh I kinda assume everyone 70+ is, at the least, far too conservative to be a benefit to society and at least 75% are actively against anything that doesn’t harm someone else to make them look or feel better.
