Do you usually cry at movies?

Not to be pedantic, but are we talking the ending-ending? Like, when Hector finally can cross the bridge and the whole family is together while Miguel sings Proud Corazon? Because I find that part uplifting without happy tears.

When Mama Coco starts singing Remember Me and it brings her back to the moment, now that part breaks me like a cheap glass dropped on parquet.

I cry at several points in this movie every time. Same with Moana. Idk why because Disney movies have always been the exception to my usual waterworks. Lilo and Stitch is the only previous Disney animated movie that I’ve cried over. Although I did nope out of Wall•E because it was depressing af.

I did cry somewhere on the movie, now I don't remember when, I think it was when the older grandma started to remember her dad. But I also didn't cry at the ending, and I'm normally a faucet when it comes to cartoon movies.

I was kind of shocked when a friend said they wouldn't watch it because their other friends all said how much that movie wrecked them. It was a cute and touching movie but at no point did I cry or even come close to it.

I didn't cry either. I found mama Coco to be uncanny to an unnerving degree. Her proportions were weird and she was too hyper-detailed. I couldn't feel anything for the character.

Wheras Carl from UP was still cartoony and his tragic tale was unraveled at the start.

I did, however, ugly cry the fuck out of myself at the ending of Toy Story 3. But that was because my little brother was on his way to university in England.

My sister and I cried buckets when we watched it in theaters.

Some tear jerker stuff just doesn't do it for some people, and that's OK.

My friends used to be amused that films made me cry. One of the funniest memories I had was HP4. Full theatre and I didn't expect to cry at the film but I did and I cried harder than I could control. While crying even I knew my crying was a bit much so I was shaking because I was laughing too. My friends interpreted it as me having a near breakdown. XD I couldn't breathe but had a good laugh when we left the theatre.
