(Anonymous) 2024-04-10 12:09 am (UTC)(link)I look forward to not reading the replies trying ti justify it, or calling me a troll for having an unpopular opinion. Sorry, call-out Anon, but you go do you.

(Anonymous) 2024-04-10 12:17 am (UTC)(link)Its great for everything else. Its perfect for explicit fics, the tagging system, excluding tags you don't want to see, the way you can write an edit fics on AO3 and so much more.
I just mean that its not made for looking through crossovers. MAYBE someday that might be a thing they do since AO3 has added things to improve the site over the years so who knows!
If I ever dare say anything remotely negative about AO3 again in future, I'll be sure to copy and paste some praises about the site just to keep your antsy ass happy anon.

(Anonymous) 2024-04-10 12:25 am (UTC)(link)(AO3 DOES have a "show only crossovers" and robust search system that makes it relatively easy to find crossovers, but I'll agree that lumping crossovers and non-crossovers together means that finding them requires a few more steps, esp for rare crossovers)

(Anonymous) 2024-04-10 01:02 am (UTC)(link)Considering all the criticism AO3 has gotten over the years - me pointing out that its not built for listing crossovers (unless you find great joy in wading through all those 50+ tagged fandoms full of one sentence stories collections); and just wishing that AO3 had a similar page that worked the same way as the one on FFnet - is up there with the 'Ao3 is child porn' anon???
Dude, AO3 gets updated all the time and sometimes adds functions to it. and I look forward to those functions - unless they suck, which I guess they never do since you believe that AO3 can do no wrong and must be an evil anti in some way.

(Anonymous) 2024-04-10 04:06 am (UTC)(link)Are you the original poster in this thread? Then it's not you who's being called out as child porn anon, but the one who replied to you ("yet another strike against AO3" anon). Probably because of the prosecution complex shining through.

(Anonymous) 2024-04-13 01:00 pm (UTC)(link)And readers can choose to exclude crossovers so nobody gets angry about finding crossovers in their single fandom search.
