Eh. I’d rather they act than go into government or have a multimillion pound business gifted to them at graduation.
Honestly of the ones I know about, most are good actors. Hugh Laurie, Tom Hiddleston, Emma Thompson, Rowan Atkinson, and Ian McKellan off the top of my head are all very talented. Benedict Cumberbatch is the only one I know with that kind of background who isn’t great at what he does.

I got my tickets to see Rifftrax live next week (at the theater's live showing in my town tho, not the actual in-person event)! My theater has Lay-Z-Boy seating, seatside waiter service, and frozen margaritas, so yay!

Judge granted out request to end a client's immigration case so he could apply for status through his wife who is in the military. We filed it a couple months ago, just got the decision today.

Also got a client's asylum case filed today, really happy about it. I think we have a decent chance of winning that one.

And finally, my cat has climbed up and gone to sleep on my legs, so all is right in the world.

Technically the powers can change someone in various ways, not necessarily always or only directly from conventional afab config to conventional amab setup, and it doesn't seem like the person on the receiving end necessarily gets to freely determine what the end result is. Also nothing says that having a vagina might not simply be the preferred setup by the character in the fic.

I mean, you know and I know and we all know that the meta reason for it happening is "because it's the author's kink" and most of the fics do not go into any of the above details or explain anything, but acting like it's impossibleeeee hooow? i don't understaaand is hyperbole in the opposite direction.

Their kink is not my kink and that's ok.

We know in canon that total sex swap is possible, but pretty sure it's never been addressed in canon that resulting in a male body with a vagina is strictly impossible. We also know that it can alter the traits specific physical parts only, without affecting anything else.

Like yes, it's a reach, if the fic writers want to reach, they can reach without violating canon.

I'm not going to make that reach or read that fic, but I'm also not going to bother shaking my fist and demanding rhetorically whyyyyyyy? /shrug

So far no major side effects after my endometrial polyp removal surgery. I was even able to sort some pictures the day after while I took time off work for extra recuperation. (I did go back to work today since I'm feeling pretty good.)

Didn't see that, but it sure sounds like a red flag. I watch a lot of true crime media. It's sad how many red flags people don't recognize as red flags at the time. It's also a sad indicator of how normalized it is for men to get away with making little "hints" about the violence they're contemplating against other people, but it's okay because it was just a joke or whatever.
