Had my first difficulties as section had today. Difficult client consult because reception decided to schedule it before the paralegal who needed to be there was there. Then big boss wanted a list of all our active clients, which somehow my predecessor didn't have, and which wasn't easy to put together thanks to issues with our system. Took me 3 hours that I had other plans for and now I'm behind on other work. Then I had a potential client and the person who was bringing him to us both try to overpower me into doing something that was a bad idea.

All in all an exhausting, frustrating day.

Feeling like I haven’t slept in a week (I was weak, I was awake…) Thinking about taking the day off work tomorrow, since the last time I did was in January. I did finally get to the grocery store, which I’d been meaning to do for a while but didn’t have the energy.

Most of the day was fine. Seeing a particularly clickbaity thumbnail from Leeja Miller has ticked me off, though.

absolutely rubbish from start to finish. didn't sleep last night until an hour before I needed to get up to make my early morning doctor's appointment. waited for an hour and ten minutes in the back for the doctor. peed in a cup and spilled it on myself. came home in tears with a migraine. threw up. tried to sleep and failed and cried. made my friend angry at me on her birthday. threw up again and shat myself as well this time. got chewed out some more by angry friend. cried some more and called my psychiatrist's office ten minutes after they closed. got told to call back tomorrow instead of passed along to the on-call doctor and when I cried they hung up on me. called a warmline and got put on a waiting list. finally calmed down slightly once the sun went down. still haven't eaten in over 24 hours and my head still hurts. keep crying and having chills. trying to get some water in me before I take my evening meds.

Today I've learned phrase "hump day". It's middle of Thursday for me here though.

Anyway, going to rumble for a bit. Someone on my friend list was talking about job interview and my brain decided to be the worst.
I've spent a lot of time looking for a new job. I still sort of unemployed because I am on a trial period, argh. Tbf I had some offers but I sort of hated them and I have enough freelance to get by. I am a replacement for an other person and when I was talking with them they mentioned that it was quite easy to find a new job. I am. :( OK, this place of work looks much better in a resume than mine but :(. Damn I suck

All kinds of licorice. Jelly Belly's licorice bridge mix is probably my fave. Alas, I can only get it once in a while because too much licorice is bad for you.

Japanese Kit Kats.

Chocolate, when ethically sourced. Though I admit I still have difficulty not picking up Lindt stuff.

Haribo berries/raspberries.

Halloween - mellowcreme pumpkins and non-plain candy corn.

Easter - Cadbury eggs (solid milk chocolate, dark chocolate, plus creme eggs and chocolate creme eggs), Godiva eggs (not sure if they still make them)

B.B. Bats flavored taffy bars from the 1970s, Reese's Pieces, Skor bar, Ring Pops, Lik-M-Aid, candy necklaces/bracelets, candy buttons that you chew off of the paper scroll (from the 1970s- anyone remember them?), Peanut Butter Twix bar.
