Same! And honestly, I'm completely fine with anyone scrolling by, but I'm still gonna keep making little injokes that don't fit anywhere else and put trigger warnings and heads up for this specific chapter because it feels right to me personally. I love putting a little 'here we have character A being an idiot, character B being a retriever and character C being in possession of the only braincell, good luck' in the notes. And also, if I'm writing a hardcore non-con scene in a fic that is indeed tagged for non-con but also has a lot of other things going on, you bet your ass I'll warn in that specific chapter. It just feels right for me and everyone who doesn't want that for spoilery reasons or any other reason, they can just ignore the tiny little note at the beginning (I've ignored author's notes before on re-reads, it's not that hard).
