I really enjoy the Mob Psycho 100 intro. Both Twilight Zone and Unsolved Mysteries have wonderfully creepy intros. I also love the Game of Thrones and The Wire themes.

The 90s Felix the Cat theme song (which was made in the late 50s, but were replayed in the 90s with this theme), has been living rent free in my head since I was a kid.

The Darth Vader theme, which I only recently realized was ripped off from Chopin's Funeral March.

The Dies Irae, which I recently learned is in damn near everything ominous.

The original PotC theme songs, which were totally written by Hans Zimmer.

What is everyone doing?

I'm hoping to just relax and play video games. Hopefully finish the last book I need to get twelve this year. Next week is going to be stressful with the holidays. @.@

Working tomorrow, I have blankets, pyjamas and a hot water bottle ready for me when I get home if it's going to be anywhere near as busy as I'm expecting. I'd love for this to be my last shift before Christmas, but alas I am in work monday+tuesday before I am free for a week. So, atm I am just focusing on getting through those days before I can have my time off.

The last couple weeks have been absolute hell. But this weekend I’m just lounging around. Husband is working all weekend and elderly dad is off to Florida to spend Christmas with his girlfriend. I’m actually responsibility free until next Friday when Dog 2 goes for surgery.

I will be recovering from the absolute stress this week has been. I only did half days, thinking it would leave me time to get a bunch of stuff I had been putting off done - only to find myself in meetings almost the whole time I was at work (so I didn't get any actual work done), my computer wifi kept shutting itself off so I had to take it in and it will likely be two weeks before I get it back (boooooo), and I did get one thing done per day that I had been putting off but now I'm so stressed and it has been stressful the entire week that I just want to hide in bed until next year since my usual stress relief is in the shop.

Relaxing and looking after the kitty. She spent today at the vet doing lab tests and she had to be sedated. So she's going to be sleepy for the next day or two.

I have Monday off as well as Tuesday and Wednesday, so it is a nice 5 day weekend.

I kind of want to do some reading, but not sure yet what I want to read.

I've got to nail down a Christmas menu ASAP so I can get started.

I know I'm doing a stuffed pork loin roast, baked mac & cheese, and scalloped potatoes, but not sure what else.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Another tour thing. Really precious to me, there is a lot of memories attached to the place I am going to. And I am going to see my friend there so it's exciting.
Also probably going to get some sleep. Work week was so tiresome I am getting insomnia again argh.

It is probably my favorite. Heck yes to something marking the shortest day/longest night of the year and the fact the light will return. I hate a 4pm sunset. Gimme back that light!

I like to try and take a morning hike and then I always bake lots of goodies to make little care packages for loved ones. I wish I had people to celebrate with, all party and bonfire style, but I like my little solo traditions too.
