It is official. Russia now solidly controls over a fifth of Ukraine according to the BBC and Guardian. And Ukraine is fighting back by creating its own penal battalions formed of soldiers who had previously deserted the Ukrainian army. So things look super great there right now. really? I feel the most sorry for people living in those regions in between. They were suffering since 2014 coup. I also feel sorry for everybody in hiding from the drafting.

Everyone in geopolitics knows you suck up to your largest geopolitical neighbor, Ukraine, despite being in Russia's sphere of influence chose to try sucking up to nations on the other side of an ocean.
