1. I love and hate Naruto at the same time, and am not afraid to admit it :D but eh, I don't think a fandom can be 'deserving' of people or not, or vice versa, or whatev

3. LOL THANK YOU :( Me too. The manga was okay at first but...I lost interest quickly. I don't think it's awful, but it wasn't exciting, and the fandom was gross.

12. It sucks even more when you love Terra AND Starfire, because Raven's fans seem to bash them and all ships involving them. IE; Raven/Robin shippers and BB/Rae shippers. In the end, I like Raven WITH Terra and Starfire, and I also like Starfire/Robin and BB/Terra. Funny how I don't like raven het ships :P I guess I like pairing her up with the people her fans hate?

1. I'm kinda guilty of this, because I can't stand FMA. The constant crying and angst in the series (for whatever reason, I just can't stand too much angst) just makes me want to beat my head against the wall and then I started seeing FMA everywhere to the point that I got spoiled and my interest was lost. That's the only mainstream fandom I will admit to not liking because of being mainstream because... I WAS SPOONFED EVERYTHING EVEN WHEN I TRIED NOT TO HAVE IT D: Er. Yeah.

3. Death Note for me got boring after L kicked the bucket. They should have just stopped it there and let the bad guy win for once. Oh well.

3. Yep! So long as you gave it a shot, you're allowed to have whatever opinion you want about it. It's when people judge something without even reading/watching/playing it that bugs me.

4. I'm sure this secret is going to cause a lot of wank, but the only thing that bugs me is the 'nobody but a select few actually plays it' part. Is that really true? I never got that impression, but if it is true, that's really sad.

14. Oh, Wolf's Rain. I've always thought that series was beautiful. ♥ It's the only one I've ever bought all of the DVDs and manga series for.

... But the fandom kinda fails. It's so rare to find any intelligent fanfiction at all.

[12] Thank you so much; I can't tell you how many times I've sat through some stupid fans ranting about 'BBxRAVEN 4EVAHZ'. Given, I don't mind that pairing, but it's ridiculous when people wank a character just because it interferes with their OTP. Besides, if people read about Terra in the old DC comics, she's so much more kick ass in there. :P

I enjoyed Death Note until L died, but it's definitely overhyped and Ohba Tsugumi is a hack. *will be making a point to avoid reading any series written by her now that she knows better* (And I can kinda see Raito/L but... it's so boring. :x I'd rather see them trying to kill each other than trying to sleep with each other, so I guess I'm more on your side.)

I'm glad I read what I read of it, though; it had its good points.

1. I usually just stick away from mainstream fandoms until the initial "OMG THIS IS AWESOME" masses die down a bit. But, for Naruto, I was really into the original manga series until it just...I dunno. I got bored with it even before the fillers. I kept up with the general idea of the story going on, but didn't bother going much further than little summaries every couple months.

But, now that the anime is working on Shippuden, I've got no problem getting back into it.

I was in a similar situation. I was a BIG anime loser fangirl for 10 years, and then my interest started dwindling, but I kept watching through the Valley of the End (ohgod Kishimoto, couldn't you have shot me? Quicker, less painful. AUGH.) After that...I was pretty much off anime, and have been ever since XD I still love my old favorites, but I didn't even bother to pick up Naruto again.

...

Then Shippuuden came out. And the intro was SO INCREDIBLE. ...And I promptly got reobsessed, approximately 2 years after first doing so XD;
