If you're selling clothes, please put measurements on (just put a yardstick on the items and show how wide the chest is on shirts and how long they are, etc.)

The reason for this is that sizes are so inconsistent across brands (and eras!) and things that are vintage/used sometimes shrink.

I once bought an XL women's sweater that was a boy's XL and there were no measurements! Never again will I buy items without measurements.

Oof, I've done that. Luckily I could gift them to my sister who fit into them, but I never even thought to question it at the time.
