Man, this is so true. These days, I see it mostly with a video game that I play. The subreddit is filled with people who seem to fucking hate it, think the devs are terrible people, pooh pooh any development news because "devs are lazy and never actually do what they say they're going to" (there are quarterly updates to the game, in which they...do in fact do the things they say they're going to do), and so on and so forth, and yet keep hanging out the fucking sub and playing the game! Like, go do something else if you hate it so much, this doesn't make any sense. You are wasting time that could be spent playing and talking about a game you actually like.
