I feel like it's legit for people to want to critique the media they enjoy.

I'm not made that way. If I get excited about media, I go in all heart-eyes like puppy love, brush aside what I don't like, and squee about my feels.

I stopped doing fandom.

I feel like there is a difference between criticism and the huge levels of hate we see today without any love at all. And the hate that believes it is objective and that the things they hate shouldn't exist. And those with all the hate taking over the fandom spaces and not even leaving much room for love.
