I'm well aware that this is the pettiest of petty secrets, but while I am legit excited for the new Muse album, by the gods do I hate the font they're using oml. It's so butt-ugly. XD

The songs released so far are great! But I might just pick up the CD rather than grab the vinyl so I can just tuck it away in my CD drawer and not have to look at that goddamn font. XP

When I watched The Devil Wears Prada, I thought the joke was that Andy looked exactly the same when she was "fat" and then "sample sized". Turns out they actually put a padded prosthetic butt on her for the earlier scenes, so it wasn't a joke at all. I knew it was fatphobic but wow.

As a woman who's never been below a size 12 as an adult, I can't tell the difference between a size 2 and a size 8, sorry. Thin girls be like, "look, I'm so bloated!" but you still look slim to me, girl. There are like four body types: too thin, slim to average, chubby/thick, and fat.

So if you're sweating a ten pound gain, friends, relax...nobody else notices.

Do you find that your fake secrets get the same traction as real ones? I know people try making up secrets for a number of reasons, but I’m never sure how successful it is.

I guess being motivated by spite is a normal reason to do fandom stuff. I have a hard time remembering that since it’s just not satisfying for me personally, but from what I’ve seen it’s pretty common and I’m in the fringe minority.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high for The Blood of Youth season 2. Cdramas aren't consistently good with sequels, the people who make them don't seem to grasp what made the first season beloved and what themes/relationships they should revisit, and even if the whole cast returns, it might not be any good.

Rationally, I know this. I also know that Dashing Youth was solidly meh, and Blood River was interesting and beautiful, but messy.

But the heart wants what it wants. Give me more Found Family bromance shenanigans and people being unabashedly, wholesomely just and noble af!

Valid, OP, valid. Especially after Imperial Coroner s2 dropped- I loved s1 but couldn't make it far at all into s2, the characters were barely the same and the mysteries/plot just terrible. (Under the Skin s2 was fine, but only barely that while s1 was amazing so still disappointing)

I loved Blood of Youth s1 but am very, very wary about what s2 is going to be like.

I just cannot get into the new Darth Maul series. I used to be interested in him, but his story is done. Rebels tied it all up pretty nicely. I don't need to see his "crime lord" phase.

I hear ya, OP. I think it is a good show, but some parts of Star Wars are finished and don't need anything extra added to them, and I think Maul's story is one of them.

I tried the first 2 eps and just never went back for the others. It wasn't bad and I'm not against more Maul, but it didn't capture my interest. It maybe took itself too seriously for my tastes.

Might depend on the body type.

I’ve always liked the 1930s and 1940s silhouettes, which I think look really good on anyone with a defined waist, regardless of size. Suit-type collars, flaired skirts.

And maybe it’s the nostalgia talking, but I love a good 1990s grunge or goth plus-size look.
