I'm both annoyed at and glad about the looks of paid cosmetics in several of the games I play.

Annoyed because I want my character to look good, not like something designed by and for edgy 13 year olds (even in games that are officially rated for adults).
Glad because it means I'm not at all tempted to spend any money on in-game content.

(But I'm actually still more salty than glad. I want cool clothes and hair too! Just not glowing/on fire and with 1000 spikes or skulls per square inch!)

I truly believe in order to make peak Star Trek again you simply have to get a cast of actors who have only done theatre and nothing else. You can have one token TV Guy if you wish, but so help me god I need those aliens doing Shakespeare up there!

Any particular reason you think that would work better? Because as far as I can tell, that's never been a thing for any of the series (for me, I wouldn't call any actor who had 20+ TV and film credits to their name before any Star Trek series to be only a theater actor). And what would you consider peak Star Trek?

We live in the future, and we can admit that all of the cool things that a Male James Bond can do are things a Female James Bond can do. If Female Bond is not exactly as toxic and awesome as any of the male ones, we will have failed, and might as well be making another franchise.]

I wholeheartedly endorse this idea for the next James Bond, but I know the franchise would never do something this cool even if they did cast a female Bond.

I would happily buy a ticket for this version of Bond.

My pitch for a male James Bond is kind of the complement of this: a Bond that is still a manipulative womanizer, but in a much more calculated (and usually female-associated) way.

Instead of essentially just smoldering at women and having them fall into his bed, we get to see him being actively seductive and manipulative… having to work at figuring out what a woman wants and then performing that particular role for her. (Hell, you could have him do this for some men too and I’d be thrilled.)

I know it won’t happen, but I think it would be interesting to see a man like Bond in a more stereotypically female spy mode à la the archetype of a Mata Hari or black widow or femme fatale character.

This might sound mean but it's likely a good number of people who are ~suuuper into~ this character are being performative to a degree. Because a wheelchair using they/them is pretty high on the "look how progressive I am for liking this character in particular" scale - the only way to amp this up even more would be to make them brown or black (with optional vitiligo).

The character design looks like they might be my type physically, like my honest impression is that they're cute, but the dialogue is super odd, in context they could be appealing or not depending on the character and story. Also they make you delete your fanfiction?! Not familiar with the fandom but intrigued by this secret.

I feel that The Wolves of Willoughby Chase arrived on the literary scene just too early to take advantage of the briefly popular mashing up of classic literature tales with a monster. Its themes channelling the tropes of "rich orphan exiled into poverty by evil relative/family friend" are intertwined with those of the savage wolf in the forests and shadows, contrasting the savagery of the wild with the idea that the real enemy is the terrifying malice inherent in the human soul which was present in classic werewolf tales; and the necessitude of perseverance in the face of oppression being essential to winning freedom; all based in an alternate history constructed world. Thus it missed the boat of the more well known and more direct mashups, such as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, in that it blazed its trail too early and too indirectly, meaning a bunch of utter fucking morons would fail to understand a simple analogy such as "Jane Eyre with Werewolves" as shorthand despite the obvious building blocks used to construct it. You nitpicking cunts!
