I like canon pairings, for the most part, but I also characters who just go well together, regardless of gender.
Case in point; my OTPs are Rei/Minako from BSSM, SasuNaruSasu from Naruto, and SyaoranxSakura from CCS! A little bit of everything~

10. I hate how often Mary-Sue gets used as "canon female character I don't like" these days. I even heard Haruhi from OHC get called a sue once, ferchristsake. *facepalms* And it's starting to spread outside of female characters too (although they still get it the worst) where people call canon-stu/sue on a character just because s/he is the protagonist.

15. *shrugs* Personally, the creepy uncanny valley-ness of them is part of why I like them so much. XD Though I usually don't spend that much on clothing for mine.

24. No, you aren't! If I think a couple of characters (or sometimes three or more &hearts) work well together, or have subtext, or just plain would look hot together, I'll ship/slash them.

Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one. Though I actually found a pair of sneakers for five bucks (they used to be a keychain), but my doll can't balance in them and so is usually shoe-free. >_> Plus it seems like all the shoes available are either gothloli shoes or big chunky boots and I don't really care for either style.

I especially hate the chorus of: "She's too this and too that!" when the main character of the series is usually *supposed* to be "interesting" or "special". *eyeroll* And it's especially ridiculous when applied to characters like Sakura (of the Haruno variety) who are -intentionally- flawed. *headdesk* Word McSandwhich and all that.

9 haha, agreed, and I'm IN the damn KH fandom. It's really, really overdone... something with the same concept in a less popular (or so I assume) fandom might work out a lot better.

19 I am absolutely and completely unjudgemental about fetishes and kinks. I have NO ROOM to talk. I do, however, agree that people should keep it to places created for it, else there are going to be a lot of people (such as yourself) who get upset and then it just comes off as attention whoring rather than actual enjoyment.

24 Up until recently, I only really liked slash pairings out of personal preference, but now I think dynamics are what matters. I've actually become pickier about pairings in general - I'll only write something if there ARE dynamics (or if I can see there being dynamics, if the characters never met on-screen). I hate it when people are exclusionist about any kind of pairing, because it makes them seem very immature, to me. So no, you're not alone.

6 & 11. To you people, and ACAW players, and any who cares, I have a secret to share~ And you can know who I am:

I'm the one who made "THE" secret. Yes me. \:D/

Hold off on torching me before I explain my piece, kay?

I originally made the secret because I thought then what I think now:
- That you people are INSANE. And I mean that in the nicest way, really.
- That friends who aren't in the rp (see, you can't prove me wrong with a smile thread) feel left out. I've seen the secrets here and in journals too.
- A lot of the ACAW secrets aren't so much as statements in my own opinion. Kyuu and Zero ae supposed to be on opposing sides. No need to make proclaimations how one side is going down, especially over...and over...and over again.

When I first saw the post with the secret posted the day after I submitted (while one I had posted over a week ago just showed up a few days ago-what kind of system do you have mods? XD), I couldn't even brought myself to comment on the post, because in my mind you all had just proven me right.

But now, here's the shocker: who cares?

I mean I literally sat back and thought, "What was the point really?" Was I jaded about not being in the rp? (Maybe, I mean I was that Anonymous person who chatted with I think grayout? WHY DID I HAVE TO PICK A SIDE LAWL?) Was I upset about friends being in it and being affected personally? Not really, though it was hilarious reading about fairyfey lawl about my secret on her journal. XD

The truth is, I don't know why I made it, spurred by something I don't remember now. And now, I realize, it didn't accomplish any purpose except causing drama (something I didn't conciously intend).

My tl;dr point is, I find now skipping over secrets I don't like is easier than making one in return. It was too tempting to make that secret pretty man. D:

I'm sure it was a great big joke and you found it quite hilarious how we misinterpreted that, because face-value? It sounded clearly like wank. How did you miss that, when you first wrote it?

And trust me, the rest of us? Were not quite that amused. Due to that, I tried my ASS off to find out what was WRONG in the RP and to try and FIX something that apparently never existed in the first place -- but DOES exist now, somehow, now that it's been brought up.
