7) I rarely have true issues with people who hate characters I love. Hating Momo from Bleach because she's crazy obsessive I get. Hating her for not having a spine is like hating her for having blond hair. Which she has neither of them.

People pull stuff out of their asses so much when bashing characters that I get annoyed. :/

7. It's not so much the hating of characters that gets me, but the bashing of them. I think you have the right to hate whatever character you don't like. I don't think you should spend time and energy bashing the hell out of them. Especally if you are bashing the character stupidly.

Or at the very least read a script/watch cutscenes on YouTube; being a fan of VII, I'm somewhat sympathetic towards new people trying to get into the series. Have you tried finding a decent quality copy of FFVII for under 30 bucks lately? It's insane. People who want to get into something as recent at XII don't have much of an excuse, though, save for money problems.

8. I totally feel you. I try and make as many secrets for movies/comics/tvshows that I can, and most of them are pretty damn obvious, but I don't care. Because I honestly haven't watched very many anime in the past few years, and TV/movie/comic/book secrets always make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. :)

17: Word. I'm FTM, and my yaoi fandom was the beginning of my seeing that "male" didn't have to mean the traditional patriarchal male stereotype. Of course, it wasn't the end, but I never would have gone farther into gender theory and exploration of the meanings of gender roles if it hadn't been for starting somewhere.
