Don't worry OP, I didn't understand why people thought they were so attractive either, until I started watching the show. It's their personalities that make them attractive. And the demon hunting... XD

It wasn't just the kiss. Really, it was the stuff that came afterward that hardly seemed like impulsively acting out his feelings, but came off as kind of sadistic. Karofsky's bullying took on some creepily sexual overtones after the kiss, most notably the wedding cake topper scene in "Furt".

And now I'm being accused, by a hetalia-troll-anon, of being an ass for asking people to act like humans capable of thought and taking responsibility for their actions.

I said I didn't think he was an angel from the beginning, but I'm not willing to do a thesis to back up my opinion over a television character, I didn't realise the person above was so invested in Light, and at that point I knew it was a stupid arguement to have.

I find that in fandom if a person loves a character enough to make a multi-paragraph post defending them, nothing I'm going to say is going to change their mind and I have no interest in changing anyone's mind over an opinion about a make-believe character.

I can only hope this is hyperbole. I've been in fandom long enough to know that there's people that do have enough problems to genuinely hate people who - HORRORS - like things they don't, but actually wishing death on them is much rarer.
