13. I'm actually starting to dislike it when people talk about how suchandsuch a canon has 'strong female characters'. I realize that it's because people don't want stuff where 'the girl' is always being rescued, but--strong isn't a positive or negative trait. It's not even that well-defined; what some people read as 'strong' others may read as 'arrogant', and what some people read as 'weak', others may read as 'calm' or 'introverted'.

24) As a player in CFUD, I admit that it is sometimes a bit worrysome having people in the actual game complaining about it. Because really, all we're doing is having fun, and I've met some of the coolest people from this RP. So it's a little sad to think that people could be so angry to that extent. It's not a good thing to stick around with something you're not enjoying.

Even though I think it's a really good RP in terms of being IC compared to a lot of them out there, but really. Even with that aside, all RPs are for fun, and if people are enjoying the experience, I don't think anybody deserves to be slammed for it. I'm sorry it sounds like you didn't have a good time there, and I hope it's nothing particularly personal with the game and players as a whole. :\

I would also hope that nobody would actually be mean enough to point out specific people in secrets like that. I know I fret over my own playing and don't want to mess up, and a lot of the players post in our community for that specific thing, as well as have screened posts open to address things like that. I know I'd be hurt if someone had a problem like that with me and bitched about it in public like that.

But I guess in some cases, when people are so bitter to that point, they're not really open to going about something like that in a courteous way. Even though I wish people would, if that were the case. I'm just a little put off that it sounds like you want people to do that.

#15: I thought the exact same thing when I saw the movie. They set it up as though she would be a loaded character. I was like, "Hot damn, the fangirls will have a new gal to pounce upon and pair up with everyone!" Then I was left with blue balls when she kicked it. I reckon there wasn't time enough to explore that little subplot!

#20: YES. They are rollicking good adventure stories. Romance is not all about kissing and porn. Think high romance, think Rafael Sabatini. I want more proper swashbuckling and backstory and plot, plot, plot and adventure and juicy characterization. Screw plain old shipping. How bland in a realm of such a sugary, distracting genre. So much good stuff should be better fleshed out. I wish I were a better writer, so I could pretend to edge my way into the epic saga. Lord, now I just want someone to rant about Pirates with for a couple hours. Crap, need to find friends.

If someone is angry @ an rp or rp character for being OOC, generalisations in secrets probably actually work better. otherwise you're just looking for trouble. + think about that poor person, you know? That's a person they'd be calling out in public. i know i'd die if anyone did that to me. it would make me want to crawl under a rock and never come out again :(. So I don't think those people are "n00bs"-- it's possible they just want to vent some frustration ('cause we all get frustrated sometimes!) w/out hurting others & trying to be considerate about a person's feelings.

10. If you go to the File menu there is a "Save for Web" option. As long as you don't have an excessively huge graphic, you can save with the quality set 90-100% and it looks great.

17. Save-our-show campaigns are actually a good way of getting more out of the series-- even if it doesn't come back to TV. Sometimes you get directly what you want (Save Carson), or you get a good compromise (SG-1 movies).

18. Some people don't see the light in changes, but at the same time, I know what you mean-- I'm slowly dropping interest in SMALLVILLE, because it's just changing too fast and too much.
I think ATLANTIS is doing a decent job, though... Although I hope that if they get season 5, they don't kill any of the title cast off.

Hahaha! The only thing Megumi and Shahni have on common is that they're both motherly. At least she's still following Guilty Gear and Ringu canon which the character is directly based off of. Don't be pissed someone actually made a likable OC. This is a rare and jubilant thing in RP. Be glad she's not some perfect mary sue with super powers up the ying-yang.

Well, technically the character design is based off S-Ko who is rumoured to be Megumi. 90% of the characters I cosplay I do so because I know I have the appearance to pull them off and quite often these characters end up being some of my favourites to start with. If you're so angry about it, why not just stop looking. Whining over something that's not directly affecting you is dumb shit.

3. I envy her because she can use traditional mediums well, and I really enjoy her cartoony style, but for fandoms like KH and other japanese stuffs, it just doesn't work.
