3. Supposedly there's a Naked Tetris out there, where all the pieces are naked people, and when you get them in the right positions they disappear and make little moaning sounds.

19. My favorite Doctor is the fourth one (Tom Baker) and my favorite companion is Sarah Jane Smith (Elizabeth Sladen). I actually dressed up as the fourth Doctor when I went to Mini-Con one year. Knitted the scarf myself (I wonder what happened to it?)

#1. I hear you. I fell in love with that book, and I wasn't even a child. It's just something that always brings me joy, and I was so excited when I found out it was being made into a movie... and then so disappointed when I saw the movie itself.

It didn't ruin the book for me, though. I just try to see them as separate. I think Miyazaki had a very different goal and theme in mind when he adapted the book to film. That's fine; I just wish they'd changed the title, and said it was "based on" the book.

This just means that I try all the harder to get everyone I know to read and appreciate the book.

I read the book after watching the movie - borrowed it from a friend - and haven't got a clue how on earth people really enjoy that movie. I agree with an earlier poster that I lost a bit of respect for Miyazaki after that movie. It was so bad that there were people audibly grumbling about the movie near the end and laughing at how silly some parts were in the theatre I was sitting in
