you are not alone. DT will always remain one of my fav fics no matter how much fic I read. I'd have never started to see Draco in a different light...
My headcanon!Draco is very much based on DT!Draco, only a bit less fanon;)

I know I've moved on to H/D which probably wouldn't have happened if I hadn't seen the bonding/bromance in DT.

Haters to the left. I'm not necessarily a fan of MI (read the first book..) but shall always love DT because yes it was teenager-dom, it was snarky, fanon, angsty leatherpants!Draco. And so what? Blah blah plagerism, yeah I read that diatribe by watshisface disparaging the whole thing but they were ACTION scenes.

Quotes were taken out of shows and stuff that I never would've heard of or watched and I gained an interest for them through DT. Sorry if that was my exposure of them blah blah.

If it's so plagerised how come I don't see any other epic long HP Fanfic about polyjuice mix up that ends up in an enforced bond and eventually ties in with the hogwarts founders and voldemort?

I mean back then Blaise was a red headed girl and Ginny was "Virginia".

I always will love those fics for the bond and friendship that Draco and Harry shared. Plotwise, storyline etc that was original, (so even if her 'books' are plagerising her 'fic' so to speak, not that I know cause I haven't read them all she's redoing her stuff originally, what's wrong with that?)

Fanon Draco would not be who he is now without CC. At all. I hated the little shit in the books. Fanfic made me love him. I don't care.

IDK when I was in HP fandom this series was the shit. Everyone loved it. My friends and I never read it though cos we were slashers.

I'm surprised (to an extent) to hear there are no fans left but then, it's been years.
