Whoa, this is making me imagine deadly kitties. Like a kind of cuter pit-viper.

Well, cats are evil, mean-spirited little creatures. But we ignore it because they're so... well... lookit them! They start so cute and then they're so poised and graceful!

Cats scare me. I can't explain it, but they do. :| It's like horses.

I also like horses. I went through the biggest horse-phase ever as a little girl!

I really wanted to be a knight as a kid, after reading Tortall and Redwall. And then I sat on a horse, and felt absolute terror.

:( I don't like being so far off the ground. Or sitting on something so potentially nervous and unsteady.

Ah, see, that's a self-fulfilling prophecy with horses. If you're nervous, they'll sense it and assume there's something to be nervous about, so you get more nervous, so the horse gets more nervous... and you two just feed off each other until the horse spooks at a falling leaf.

My horse ended up spooking at a random bouncy castle in someone's front yard. I thought it was gonna fall on me like what happened to my aunt :\

Eek. No wonder you would be nervous. That kind of stuff scares you, even when you know it's very rare.

Well, I can't breathe if I snuggle my face into cats, but it'd be totally worth it IMHO. :)

Plus, everything is better with kittens. :)

Is it their fur or their dander or their spit? Could you snuggle a hairless cat?

It's their fur, and their dander, and their spit. :P

Sooooo I think I'll just get shots, and suck it up. :)

Mostly because I really want a Siamese cat, an Egyptian Mau, and a ragdoll at some point in my life. :)

Egyptian Mau?! OMG THOSE ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CATS EVER!

Plus, if you get a Siamese, you either need to be home all. the. time. Or find them a companion kitty with a similar temprement, and from what I've read about Egyptian Mau's, they have a similar temprement.

Of course, each cat is different, and so on, but the more I looked at Egyptian Mau's, the more I decided that, even if I don't get a Siamese and and Egyptian to be buddies, I want both cats at some point in my life. :)

They're so elegant. There also a lot less work than dogs (although not as rewarding, I think).

Eh, I guess it depends on the dog or cat. <3 I mean, I've hung out with cats who were more like dogs than the dogs we've had were.

But, yes, they're so elegant~ <3

Well, as a general rule, dogs are more work than cats. There are always exceptions, though. My dogs are not exceptions.

But then, our dog acts more like a cat, so it's weird. :D

YARN. HE PLAYS WITH YARN.

Dogs will play with whatever's available to play with.

Case in point? My older dog thinks underwear is a chew-toy.

My old dog loved underwear too! If he could, he'd try to steal it from the dirty hamper. (And used tampons.)

We used to wrap his tennis ball up in a rag towel to watch him 'solve' the puzzle and root it out of the towel bundle.

Dogs can be so gross. But really sweet, too.

I've never seen a dog play with yarn, though. :D

I have seen dogs present their people with something half-dead and disgusting as a token of affection, though!

That cat is gorgeous and looks half-ocelot.
