I just can't see them working well together, because Carrot is so oblivious. But they care for each other so much, and I loved Carrot's storyline in the Fifth Elephant, so I'm conflicted.

Hah, and I think many people in canon would argue the opposite if they figured they could get away with it. XD I'm not the biggest Carrot fan in the world, but I don't think it's necessarily about one deserving the other but the fact that they love each other.

I dislike them for the same reason I'm not a huge fan of any Carrot stuff. I just hate the feeling that everyone is caught up in his Big Damn Destiny.

Meh, don't feel one way or the other about them as a couple, they're kinda boring. Though I do worry about Angua sometimes, as Carrot can get pretty creepy in a sneaky way.

Firstly: why all the hate for Carrot up ins? I love the guy. He's a great foil to ridiculous characters like Ventinari and Rincewind, and he's damn loveable.

Secondly: ...Who the hell ships Discworld? Some series I can see it for, but Pratchett almost always writes in a fairly omniscient style save where certain antagonists are concerned. Nothing in those books is ambiguous enough to ship.

;_; Angua is super cool and everything, but Carrot's my favourite. I love that he appears to be kind of dim, but deep down he's a shrewd bastard. He reminds me of Benton Fraser.

I like Carrot. I think he's an interesting character. A paragon of virtue and dimwitted goodness at first glance, but a sneaky bastard beneath the surface. (Besides, I like my Big Damn Heroes.) I think he and Angua work well together, and in truth, I can't think of anyone else they'd mesh with as well as they do one another.
