Thankfully, no. He just fondled my boobs a lot and then asked if he could shave my legs, for some strange reason lmao.

Antichrist is so fucked up; I hate it.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks hehe.

[identity profile] raichu100.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
I don't really think this is true. I think it's far more likely that straight women (who are probably the majority of fandom people) get off on reading fiction with maximum dickage because that's what turns them on.

[identity profile] quorothorn.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
Love this movie. Haven't seen nearly enough "takes" on Sherlock and his stories to say if I truly think Basil of Baker Street's movie is the "best", but he was definitely epic.

[identity profile] raichu100.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
hehehe I do the same thing! I comment every now and then, but when I see that long, argument-like thread appearance my curiosity is piqued :3 well-put

[identity profile] non-sum-lacerte.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
lolol

I'm not sure if I hated Antichirst, but I did have a D: expression the entire time I was watching it. Maybe I was too weirded out to feel loathing

[identity profile] becksreid72.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
*shrug*

I like it.

[identity profile] non-sum-lacerte.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
I was the anon above btw. Just forgot to click the button.

[identity profile] raichu100.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
S!B?

[identity profile] veronica-rich.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
Translation: I want this to become like every other male-female relationship in prime time sitcoms.

[identity profile] magnetic-regina.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yeah. But fandom has much more of a focus on male characters rather than female characters and writing exclusively about male characters increases that.

[identity profile] imati-lau.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I agree.

While the graphics and designs for the new summons in FFXIII are pretty well done, I just can't feel the same emotion summoning them. I guess mechanic summons are just not my thing.

That, or maybe it's because I just can summon just one eidolon per battle. I just miss so much summoning as much as I wanted (if I had enough megic points obviously) in every battle as in IX. Now, THOSE really were kickass battles... (btw, I miss trance too)

[identity profile] sir-hellsing.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
That confused the heck of me. It's like they try to use their orientation to justify their shipping preferences, what?

Numbered lists keep me from exploding.

[identity profile] curseangel.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
1. Yes, heterosexual people do have it easy compared to homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, and other individuals with non-normative sexualities. Heterophobia does not exist -- that would imply and require that homosexuals and others of non-normative sexualities have some form of power and privilege over heterosexuals, which is not in any way true.

2. I do not feel the same about making homosexual characters straight, for reasons that would be obvious if you weren't a homophobe. Given the history of people/organizations/institutions trying to "turn" gay people straight, the myth of the "choice" to be homosexual, and the societal prejudice against homosexuals, it is disgusting and distasteful to feature a homosexual character as "straight". I have less issue with depicting said person as bisexual, or as some fluid level of sexuality where they become attracted to someone of the opposite sex but are still considered / regarded and so on as gay, though.

3. lolol "get their nasty little rocks off." You really do just hate sex, don't you? I mean, seriously, what the fuck. It isn't rewriting the character, you disgusting homophobe. GET IT RIGHT. You can write a character as non-heterosexual without changing their whole fucking personalities, and that you think you can't is testament to the INCREDIBLY homophobia you are displaying here. And you know what? I'd rather be a "tool with no sense of equality" than a bullshit artist such as yourself, spinning a tale of heterophobia that doesn't exist because I recognize such things as CONTEXT and HISTORY when I consider an issue.

4. Again, you really seem to hate sex. Nice slut-shaming, by the way. And seriously, not even all casual sex goes like that, so I don't know what the fuck you're even talking about anymore here. WHAT YOU THINK =/= WHAT ANYONE ELSE HAS TO THINK.

5. Good for you, you're a zero on the Kinsey scale! Hardly anyone else is, though. And it isn't being a ~flip-flop wavering mess to um, not be exclusively one thing or the other. Do you think bisexual people are just "flip-flop wavering messes"? Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you.

6. Yeah, media is really homophobic. And I'm sorry, I watch television other than ABC, so I don't see a lot of gay characters. I mean, let's see, of the shows I have seen recently (and I watch almost every new show that comes out each season at least once) I can think of... um, two? Two with actual gay characters. Out of like, twenty or so. And either way? There does need to be diversity in television. People do write these parts. Are you seriously telling me people shouldn't be encouraged to write for a diverse cast? That people shouldn't be discouraged from writing show after show of The Straight White People? Bullshiiiit. Bigot.

7. No, the default in society is heterosexuality. When people think of someone, they default to thinking of them as straight unless it is explicitly otherwise stated -- and sometimes even then (thinking of how many lesbians I know who have been told they'd be straight if they "knew better" ie had sex with a man). Characters are FICTIONAL, they can be whatever sexuality the writer wants. And if you say they should by default be straight because you personally don't like the idea of thinking characters are bisexual by default? It's probably because you're a bigoted fuckwit. Anyway, as has been said elsewhere in this thread, what people see as the "default" when it comes to sexuality depends on them. And if someone else sees XYZ character as bisexual, who the fuck are you to tell them they're wrong? Who the fuck do you think YOU are, the sexuality police?

8. You "enjoy a good relationship with quality chemistry" as long as the characters aren't written as gay, amirite? Cos that's what you're ALLLLLLLL over this post basically saying. It doesn't matter how great the chemistry is, how little canon romance they have -- if it's not SHOWN that they're gay, you think they're straight! (Because, hi homophobia!) Good job putting your bigotry on display <3

[identity profile] that-douchebag.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
So? they are still boring to look at, is just lazy desing.

[identity profile] metal-equine.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, more people do understand men watching f/f than women watching m/m - it's socially conditioned. I wasn't protesting that part. I was merely pointing out that OP has obviously been blind to the discussions over here and frankly everywhere as most parts of fandom are increasingly about social awareness ( and justice). Both get rage but for different reasons. Ex: 1) Men are sexist assholes. 2) Guy on guy is icky and/or women are fetishzising(sp?) gays.

[identity profile] imati-lau.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
Best comment ever. LOL

And that's why when I want something in my head to work differently as the Internet thinks, I don't even search for it on the web. ;P

that dancer...

Guy on the far left is Jeremy Hudson (http://instinctmagazine.com/archives/celebrity-interviews/the-other-j-hud-fame-s-jeremy-hudson), by the way. He's kind of fabulous, haha.

[identity profile] raichu100.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
Okay. But I don't think saying that people who get off on gay porn have to stop writing/reading what they like is the solution to that problem.

[identity profile] veronica-rich.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
This was a fucking AWESOME game. I got over 20,000 points many many times, but could never successfully get a photo of the TV screen so I could send it in to get my patch for it. Balls.

[identity profile] llivla.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
Where were you earlier this week when I watched the entire pilot for "Once Upon a Time"? :-P
I just finished watching that.

the trailer was so bad ass and... um... :(

(Anonymous) 2011-10-24 04:05 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] imati-lau.livejournal.com 2011-10-24 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
I actually thought it was a bad thingy that was chasing you for the entire game... but then I was like 5 years old, I hadn't even an idea of what I was supposed to do with that game... Pitfall, oh, good memories...

(Anonymous) 2011-10-24 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
