20. I really prefer the manga over the TV series because of the further character development, and all the other characters. Millenium? YES. Wild Geese? YES. But I don't really hate the tv series as much as I can't seem to get through it. I've tried for years to watch it, and I've only gotten through the first two episodes, an episode in the middle, and the last four. I can't help but laugh really. D: BUT. I absolutely love the music in it, and I love Integral and Seras' character designs. There you go. Some love for the TV series. ♥

5. Yeah. No kidding. My own original writing has sooo fallen by the wayside in my love of fandom. Fanfiction... actually gets read. :\

8. I like Heero/Quatre and Trowa/Quatre, personally, and I am far from anti-slash. Far from it. But _I hate 1x2._ I like 1xR, even if it's not my favorite pairing for either of them. It seems to me like 1x2 steamrolled over that whole fandom -- when in fact, Heero and Duo spend far more time with other pilots than with each other, and don't have much chemistry in my opinion. But it's not like it matters anymore... It's become such a megalith that no one in that fandom has actually seen the show anyway.

30. It only got bad when they started making up crack that didn't even fit its own canon. WTF are you ripping that tiny philosophical vampire girl off of Anne Rice -- when everything she says proves a total lie everything the series stands for? What?

And I prefer it most of the time, but the manga is just on crack, man. The Nazis vs the KKK vs Alucard. (Guess who wins?!)

11) H-high school AU fic oh god there is always a new one on ff.net like... every day. XD; I can't stand those. But really, all the hate on the same person who gave them the first series that they adored just because of that is kinda. :\ You shouldn't let that side of it make you feel bad about it, because the fandom has great fic and art and fans that make up for it tenfold.

1. ... I believe you. Monsters Inc. had a similiar case going for it. Someone stole it off of a guy who'd been doing a children's book. His agent ran off with the concepts and sold them to disney, along with a bunch of other stuff. It's not an uncommon story at all. I've refused to ever watch Monsters Inc. as a result, mostly because it just exemplarifies the uglier side of the industry.

1. It seems that Pixar/Disney stole a lot of stuff. O_o If it makes you feel better, I always thought Antz was better (even though that's a rip off of a Bug's Life which apparently is also a rip off). I'm sorry they didn't even pay her for the initial art. ._.
