1. A place in fandom is never permanent, and does not transfer to other fandoms, either, unless you manage to keep a solid group of friends who will forever enjoy exactly what you do. Why do you want it? Do you feel that the position reflects the quality of one's life?

13. "Fangirling over" characters who appear "tortured" is cathartic for many who feel unhappy with their own lives. It gives some a way to transfer grief that they wouldn't have otherwise. No one's being single-minded or trying to upset you. Most are just trying to find stability.

FFVII rocks my socks. I don't care what anyone else says about it.
It's my favorite game, too.

14. TROLLLLLL IN THE DUNGEONS. (Seriously, anyone who would call (yaoi/slash) fandom smut "disgusting....")

19. I don't believe I've ever seen that man before now, and as incredibly picky as I am with finding men attractive...I think that is one of the most truly attractive faces, to me, I have seen. It's not the stupid conventional "omg that's hot" - it's the thinness of his face and that gaze, oooh. Definitely the most attractive older man I've ever seen.

#19!

2) It was. They just did their best to eradicate it from the interwebs. I'd say thgey did a pretty good job.

14: I had a similar experience with Star Trek slash. I was in middle school and stumbled upon a site full of it. I red page after page of het and slash. The first slash I ever read was a Voyager fic that I found years later when I got into a particular slash pairing. I didn't read femmeslash/yuri until I got into Sailormoon and Gundam Wing, and it was awesome.
