I can't think of "yellow fever" as anything but the truly horrific disease it is. Who's brilliantly well educated idea was it to name this... cause... after something that makes you bleed from your eyes and vomit black tar?

Who's brilliantly well educated idea was it...

a guy or girl who was scorned by their crush who already liked some other dude/chick. Because clearly the crush was only infatuated with *their* love interest because of their Asian-ness. Not because the love interest actually chats with the crush and treats the crush like an intelligent human being. No, it has to be the Asian-ness.

That's my theory. Though I love the descriptors for black-tar vomit, I must admit I am quite impressed with the vivid imagery in just a few words.
