I'm not for either side, but replying just to say you don't care is counterproductive. If you really didn't care, it wouldn't be worth your time to respond. The "it amuses me" rationale doesn't work, either. If it amuses you, then you care. Either be honest (you like fighting with trolls), or prove you don't care by not replying.

And all I'm saying is that you could communicate that people are wasting their time a lot better by not replying, rather than proving they aren't. Because their aim is to get you to reply (hint: they don't actually care about your use of "retarded", either; they're just trying to piss you off, and social justice is trendy right now).
