General comments:

So, I just recently started watching Supernatural out of morbid curiosity thanks to you guys. Why didn't I do this before? It is nearly everything I've ever wanted in a show (paranormal stuff! classic rock! classic car! road-trip format!)

I avoided Supernatural for years because I assumed it was just another cheesy horror knock-off with a pretty cast. I was totally amazed with how good it was when I actually started watching and sad that I didn't get over myself and start watching sooner.

So did I and it's actually pretty fun if you don't take it super seriously.

The exact same thing happened to me.

This applies to me too. I wrote it off as a silly show about two tough guys chasing skirt and being cheesy macho posers with their guns and their car. My friend made me watch it by constantly telling me how good it was. The time I mainlines through five seasons of it was one of the best TV experiences of my entire life. I wished I have a mind wipe device I could use to erase it from my brain and watch it all again.

You say that now, but just wait until season 5. If you aren't scared off, season 6 will do that for you. Seasons 1 - 2 are the show's prime.

Season 5 is actually my favorite... I love it's main story arc quite a bit. But six is absolutely AWFUL.

yeah same, i just got into it like a month ago. it's a great show even if it's cheesy.

I got into Supernatural because of F!S too. The fandom may be crazy, but the show is amazing.

I hear ya! Though I got into it on a combination of hearing about it all the time in one of the HP communities I'm a part of, and then watching the last three episodes of season three on tv around Halloween two years ago. I didn't know what was going on to get the boys there, but it got me interested enough that I went out and bought the first season and ZOOMED through it in less than three days. /hooked

While the situation still sucks, I'm kinda glad to hear it's not just me -_-

Just this week it was revealed that presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, whose entire family enthusiastically worships Mammon, has recruited a gay Sheriff (codename Baboo, as gays are fond of bears) who picks up underage illegal Mexicans to sacrifice during orgiastic and violent gay blood orgies the likes we haven’t seen since the Mayans ruled the American continent. Romney, who recruited his strong-boy breeder wife from among Satan-worshipping Atheists, now faces two opponents who are staunch opponents of the stuff he pulls on Mexicans.

So, person who made a secret about the Helen Mirren "Tempest", and how you ship Ariel/Prospera?

A lot of secrets today are really pretty/well-made.

Apparently it's become unwritten tradition to have at least one Star Wars secret show up for the party?

Don't get me wrong, I loved the original three movies so I don't mind seeing them referenced so the rest of us get to share the love of things other people are hating on, but at this point I'm more wondering how long this is going to keep up. -_-
