Adventure Time AND Monster High? Also, Sailor Moon~~~! ;3;

I love shipping, but it's not the only thing I'm interested in. Can't write it at all anyway! All my stuff's gen or about sibling relationships, practically. x3; I'm more of a fanartist than a fanfic writer, anyway~

Maybe we'd get along?

I like reading about sibling relationships; I love fanfics that explore the relationship between Bart and Lisa Simpson. :] I'm more of a fanartist myself anyway, but I haven't drawn anything in years sadly.

Right now I'm reading The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Presidents. I'm not really enjoying it because it has a huge obvious conservative slant and I can't take the information in it at face value, especially since it doesn't credit sources, but I started it and I might as well finish it. I'm also waiting for my copy of Loss by Jackie Morse Kessler to come in. I think I'm the only person who reads that young adult series, but it's called the Riders of the Apocalypse and it deals with three (maybe four, I'm not sure about Death) teenagers being chosen as the four horseman. Each one has a personal problem related to their position; for example, Famine has anorexia and War is a self-harmer. I need to get out of my non-fiction rut and start reading some more fiction. I just finished Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult about a week ago and was eerie how closely the book mirrored a recent event in my life, so I drove 120 miles to meet her on her book tour and tell her how reading it helped me grieve. I regret nothing.

I wrote a bunch for Reiji/Reggie and Shinji/Paul from Pokemon, but they've got a bit more of a... troubled relationship than Bart and Lisa. They've definitely got a lot of differences too, so they're almost polar opposites, though! And aww, do you have any recommendations? I miss the Simpsons! Never read fics, though.

Same, same! Well, not in years, but in the past few years, I haven't drawn as much until very recently, when I got my inspiration back!

That first book doesn't sound like much fun at all, gah. Everything else sounds fascinating!

Wow, I'm really glad you got to do that. I'm sure the author was moved that her writing helped you so. ^o^

Presently, I'm reading Catfish and Mandala (although, after losing the page I was on, I kind of left it behind in annoyance... I should go figure out which page I was on ^^; ) which is a very funny bike-travel memoir from the point of view of a Vietnamese American as he tries to go back to his roots. He's got a really lovely and vivid style!
Also, reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Tales of Terror and Mystery. Also reading An Unsuitable Job for a Woman by P.D. James. Cordelia's a riot (I love her inner monologue) and the mystery's pretty interesting!

I read more fiction. : D;

Let's see... I haven't gone through Simpsons fanfiction in a while, but I've got a few recs from my favorites list.

A Trade (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4674655/1/A_Trade) - Bart trades something for Lisa, character death.
Raining On Sunday (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2809143/1/Raining_On_Sunday) - Lisa needs comfort during a thunderstorm.
Lisa the Social Scientist (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5704470/1/Lisa_the_Social_Scientist) - Lisa and Colin go to college together.
Love Thy Neighbor (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4855629/1/Love_Thy_Neighbor) - Not Bart and Lisa related, but still good. Homer passes away from cancer, Marge grieves with Ned Flanders.
Amazon Dot D'oh! (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5459884/1/Amazon_Dot_Doh) - An older Maggie wants to bond with Homer and they take a rafting trip to the Amazon.

A Trade was great! You have really good taste in fics, it seems. I think I'll read a couple of the others too.

Thanks for sharing! ^^

(Sorry for the late response, I meant to respond on the same day, but... ^^;)

Yes! ^3^

Chao/Katy's so cute! As is Unico himself. And Beezle... okay, every Unico character is cute.

Every character but Lord Keruku. Is it weird that I'm nearly 30 and he still freaks me out? Probably.

/NOT ASHAMED

But you're not scared of Mr. "Drink more of this wine and you'll sing sweeter than you've ever sung in your life?"

Because Baron Ghost/Ghost-Danshaku was preeeeetty creepy. Even with his biseinen-y looks and awesome horse and all the crows and all.

I still need to see the other Unico film!

That dude is definitely terrifying. Talk about rape-face. Come on dude, she's like 15!
