Jumping Spider



This second one isn't "cute" in a traditional way, but I think it's gorgeous. It reminds me of a fluffy teddy bear, like it's made of velvet, or like a black panther spider.

That last spider is scary as hell, and extremely soft-looking. I'm not sure how to deal with that, but thank you for challening my knee-jerk reaction (which is pretty much to run away screaming without even trying)? And can I just say, I think you're doing a lovely thing, posting cute animals and maybe helping people along the way (and offering puppies and kittens when the spiders scare people). Just one of those random acts of kindness, which is something to be commended, so here's me commending away.

Hey, F!S, I'm hoping to get into J-pop, but I don't know where to start. I am madly in love with K-pop (Girls' Generation, Super Junior, f(x), Brown Eyed Girls, SHINee, TVXQ, etc) and I'd like to find some J-pop that sounds similar to those groups. Thanks!

I think K-pop sounds closer to American pop than J-pop overall, tbh, you can hear the influence, so if you want something that sounds similar to K-pop... yeah American pop. But anyway, I'm gonna rec Koda Kumi because she has that sorta R&B influence that most of K-pop has, only... a lot raunchier (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=susgh5Rst48) than what you can get away with Korea, lol. You can also try Amuro Namie. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iTurnzaKpQ&feature=related)

If it's the whole idol machine that turns your crank rather than the music specifically, Johnny's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_%26_Associates) groups, the highest ranking of which is still Arashi I think. And there's always AKB48. If you like the whole polished, produced sound thing, try Perfume.
