I don't see that or the ability to edit comments or anything (according to their FAQ, paid communities should have that, I think?). We won't die without it, clear comment trees and expansion seem to be the main things people want, but I'm not sure if it's working as intended or messing up.

Okay, the ONE thing that I like better over at LJ... you can expand the comments *within* the same page.

Here on DW, you need to click on Thread to read all the comments in that thread, then you need to click back to get to where you were on the main comments page.

Something else to look at... in the DW account settings, Display tab, there's this:

New Comment Link Indicator

[_] Adds the comment count to entry links. Your browser should display links in a different color if there are new comments since your last visit.

I never really used that on LJ (and I'm a newer member of f!s), but it might be useful here for some people?

The expand tags work inline for me...I'm not sure what's up with yours?

Also, that feature is awesome, but it only lists the number of new comments when you look at the x comments in this entry // leave a comment links if you're looking at it from a journal. It just turns it into x comments in this entry (x new comments) // leave a comment. It doesn't tell you which comments exactly are new, which sadfaces me. :/

Expand should work inline, but I've found that sometimes it glitches and works like Thread instead.
