I wouldn't call myself a rabid fangirl, I am a fan though and, yes, I saw Thor.

It's a fun movie. There's something Shakespearean about Thor's family dynamic. That and Kat Dennings is hilarious.

The NY Comic Con Avengers panel (that happened way before The Avenger came out) was literally 95% questions for Tom Hiddleston about Loki, so I guess there was a lot of Loki love before TA lol.

ugh, yes, she irritates me to no end. Especially in Thor, and it's partly her fault for being as expressive as a plank of wood, and partly the writers' fault for writing an "epic romance" that spans a couple days.

IMO all of the better Loki bits in Thor ended up in the deleted scenes. Which was a bummer. It's still a pretty good movie, but I think it would've been better with the deleted stuff kept in. /personal opinion
