I don't hate Tenlin perse, but I definitely hate it when people slut-shame Pema. I mean, Tenzin said it himself. Lin and he were growing apart. And frankly, looking at how different their personalities are, that make sense. Don't me wrong, it seems likely the breakup was messy, and I don't expect Lin to LIKE Pema, but maybe we could give everyone involved the benefit of the doubt and assume they are grown people. Tenzin fell out of love with Lin and/or decided their relationship would no longer work, and when Pema confessed to him, he went for it, and found love again. There is nothing wrong with that, and it would certainly be better than staying in a dysfunctional relationship with Lin.

Pema's POV made it seem as if Tenzin was still in love with Lin when she went after him.

Idk, I'm just assuming that Tenzin/Lin was toxic and frequently on/off or else I can't ship Pema/Tenzin. I would like if it wasn't as messy as Pema/Lin made it sound.

-shrugs- I just went under the assumption that, while they played the happy couple in public they were really just going through the motions while they grew apart, and the relationship was just trickling to a close when Pema showed up.

Yeah, this. It sounded to me like complacency was also an issue; that once Tenzin had a reason to look at his relationship, he realized that it just wasn't working.

Yes, this! I would kinda love to see what happened between Tenzin and Lin... in part, because they are so different and seeing the sparks fly would be amazing.

I think, though, that Tenzin and Pema have a much healthier relationship.
