I was about to say. This book is about the last place I'd go to look for an accurate representation of BDSM relationship.

Completely agree with this. Currently reading it and I can't get over the fact how badly consent is treated in this books.

Aside from the consent issues, the actual BDSM sex scenes are handled fairly well. I would never use this as a template for a D/s relationship, though, considering how Christian basically pressures Ana into signing his D/s contract, which...... no. (Many of the things on the contract also being in the "WTF???" territory.)
