I'm Asian and am blessed with anime-esque hair, so I sympathise with having hair that is difficult to control. Still, I find myself occasionally wishing that my hair wasn't so straight. It's basically resistant to styling, so any perms/curling that I do to my hair doesn't last. It's not difficult to manage/heavy/tangles easily, but there is a downside to having hair that does that anime-hair-reset thing (albeit a very petty downside, therefore the anonymity. :D *takes refuge*). Curling, even with strong holding spray doesn't last beyond 2 hours for me; my hair just goes back to being really straight. I can't use chopsticks/pretty stick-in hair accessories on their own either, because they sort of just slip through and don't stick no matter how I twist them in; I need elastics to keep them in place if I want to use them, so I've pretty much given up on them. If I don't have bangs, my fringe is always in my face, and refuses to stay in its parting even if I blow dry it that way, and it's like my parting resets itself after every shower. OTL
