I have a relaxer in my hair mostly because I'm really lazy about my hair and I can't keep up with a natural look or straighten it with a hot comb every single day. Otherwise, meh. Long hair gets so fucking annoying in the summer as well. I usually chop it short for summer because you get bored always pulling it up so you won't sweat on it.
I am looking for a way to embrace my natural hair one day as soon as I can find a few looks that look awesome on me. It feel like my hair is the wrong kind of nappy (actually thin but looks thick and ultra soft) to pull off some of the looks I want. I wish I had thick hair. LOL.

Don't let it get to you. I mean, there's nothing wrong to relaxing your hair (if you can stand the pain) but there's something wrong you internalize media's measurements of beauty that you will think your hair is awful. I mean, I'm trying to let go a lot of fucking self-image damage myself.
