I hear you. I'm insanely jealous of male characters who can have ridiculously long hair and still look like men and not have anyone be like "LOL girly long hair." I love me some animanga, but dang if their insanely cooperative and easy-to-manage and unnaturally beautiful flowy hair doesn't tick me off.

Yes. Constituent here from limbo saying that I understand, secret poster. While I'm guessing that our hair isn't exactly the same, I'm a recently-out, passing-only-half-the-time TG boy and I envy those male characters a lot, too. I always look with envy at the white characters because from what I understand, the only hair choices for someone like me are bald, close cropped, or Akio Ohtori. It does feel hopeless sometimes; I hear you, and most of the time I just resort to sticking my head in the sand about the matter.
