Oh, um, well, I'm just guessing here since I've never checked that out myself, but I think you could google things like the names of the series you like (in Japanese), and have on advance settings "show only results from country: Japan", and then see if you can find your way through webrings, or whatever is in vogue in Japanese fansites these days.
