I don't really like her much in KH1 because they don't really develop her as more than a pretty girl for Sora to chase after, but they did a great job of making her better in KH2.

I could take her or leave her in the first game (though I did think she was cute), but I liked how she showed a lot more guts in KH2. I can't see how OP can claim she doesn't do anything on her own after that when she kind of went chasing after Sora and Riku and even fought a bunch of Heartless by herself.

*nod nod* My thoughts exactly. She wasn't really much of a character development-wise in the first game, but that's definitely not the case in the second one. She was the one that was being chased and fought for, so I liked how they had her pursuing her friends.
